NINE : Journal of Law and Customs, Volume 1 Number 1, January 2023, is a means of scientific publication of laws and customs in the land of Jambi, nine village heads and customary law in general. This journal was formed because of the legal urgency for indigenous and tribal peoples in the era of globalization which is full of technological advances, for this reason through this publication it is hoped that it can maintain the prevailing culture and customary law, today's indigenous and tribal peoples must be optimized, because prior to the existence of this country, indigenous and tribal peoples had their own traditions and ways to live side by side with nature.
