Abstract
This research was motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of class VI SD.127/VI Muara Kibul II students in the 2019/2020 academic year. This is because the teacher still dominates the learning process, the teacher has not combined creative models/methods in the learning process, so that students do not play an active role in the learning process, students pay less attention to the subject matter provided by the teacher, resulting in low student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of the Course Review Horay cooperative learning model in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of class VI students at SD.127/VI Muara Kibul II in the 2019/2020 academic year. The type of research used is classroom action research using the Course Review Horay cooperative learning model. The subjects of this study were students of class VI SD.127/VI Muara Kibul II for the 2019/2020 academic year. The technique used to collect data is by conducting a final test in each cycle and observations are made during the learning process. The research was conducted in two cycles. From the value of student learning test results in the first cycle of 71.71, it increased in the second cycle to 84.13. The increase in the average value of 12.41. Student completeness increased from 58.62% during the first cycle to 86.20% in the second cycle. Student learning activities also increased with an average of 58.18% in cycle I, increasing to 64.22% in cycle II. From the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes in mathematics using the Course Review Horay type cooperative learning model in class VI SD.127/VI Muara Kibul II students in the 2019/2020 academic year.
