Analisis Dan Perancangan Sistem Informasi Pengarsipan Surat Berbasis Web Pada Kantor Desa Bukit Subur

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and design a web-based letter archiving information system at the Bukit Subur Village Office. In the process of administration and archiving letters, various obstacles are often found, such as the difficulty of finding the required letter archives, irregular data storage, and loss of important documents. A web-based information system is expected to be a solution to overcome these problems by providing an integrated, easily accessible, and efficient platform in managing letter archives. The research methodology used includes system needs analysis, database design, and web application development. Needs analysis was carried out through direct observation and interviews with the administrative staff of the Bukit Subur Village Office. The results of this analysis were then used to design a database that meets the needs of letter archiving. The web application was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, and implemented with a user-friendly interface design to make it easier for users to access and manage letter archives. The results of this study indicate that a web-based letter archiving information system can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of letter archive management at the Bukit Subur Village Office. Users can easily search, store, and manage letter archives quickly and accurately. In addition, this system is also equipped with security features that ensure that the letter archive data is protected from unauthorized access
